File Sharing

Services for storing and sharing files like Dropbox and Google Drive.

  • Service provided by OneIT that offers file hosting and cloud storage through Dropbox. Dropbox for Business accounts are automatically provided to faculty and staff at UNC Charlotte; however, access requests can be made for: a) University Sponsored Guests and b) Undergraduate and Graduate student employees. Dropbox Team Folders are shared spaces where teams can store, search and access their files. Files belong to the team, not individuals. Dropbox Team Folders are available to Faculty/Staff.

  • Service offered by OneIT that provides file hosting and cloud storage through Google. Available to everyone at the University with a NinerNET account. Google Shared drives are shared spaces where teams can store, search and access their files. Files belong to the team, not individuals. Google Shared drives are available to Faculty/Staff.

  • File storage service offered by OneIT to campus. H drive is a personal space used for personal files. J and S Drives are shared spaces for departmental file sharing.

  • As supported by ENGR, Mosaic account has an associated disk quota of 10GB. This includes all the files within your W:\, H;\ and U:\ drives.

  • For requesting changes regarding the campus-provided Network shared drives utilized by Student Affairs Faculty/Staff (Create New folder, update/add permissions to existing folder, etc.)

  • Service provided by OneIT that offers file hosting and cloud storage - operated by Microsoft.

  • Service offered by Biology (CLAS) for file storage.
